EXPLANATION
SANCTIONS A JUDGE MAY ORDER
Intentionally causing or inflicting physical injury on a person

The law prohibits anyone from from using a weapon, substance or an object to cause or inflict injury on another person.

People who attempt to commit such act of violence; or incite; aid; abet; counsel; receive or assist another person in committing such act are also punished.

Imprisonment for 5 years or less depending on the cirmcumstances of each case; or a fine of ₦100,000 or less; or both imprisonment and fine
